The State I Love To Call Home!

Allow me to introduce you to the state I love to call home – and where I love to work as a full-time real estate agent: Wisconsin!

Wisconsin was admitted to the union in 1848 as the 30th State in these United States. As time moved on, Wisconsin began to establish itself as a major business hub. Businesses such as Harley Davidson, Trek Bicycle Corporation, Kohler, Rockwell Automation, Miller Brewing Company and Generac Power Systems had their start in Wisconsin and some of these companies still remain as Wisconsin-owned.

Home to famous sports teams such as the Packers, Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers as well as several minor league sports teams. Wisconsin is also home to world-renowned University of Wisconsin which is home to Badgers sports teams that include hockey, basketball, volleyball and more.

Dairy is a major driver of Wisconsin’s economy, generating more than $20 billion per year. Cheese making, cranberries, snap beans and corn for silage are major agricultural products in the state.

When it comes to living in “the cheese head” state, you get to choose if you want to live within a large city such as Madison, a mid-sized city such as Eau Claire, or within a cozy small town, or spacious rural town. You can snow ski at Granite Peak Resort in Wausau and enjoy fishing, kayaking, camping, hiking, snowmobiling, and ice fishing just about anywhere in the state. Home to the largest cranberry festival in the world as well as to ginseng that is praised world-wide, there seems to be something for everyone in this beautiful state.
